Hitachi Chemical Applies C3Nano’s ActiveGrid™ Transparent Conductive Inks

June 1, 2015 – C3Nano,Inc. announced today that Hitachi Chemical Co. Ltd, (TSE : 4217) and C3Nano have partnered in the joint development of transparent conductive transfer films (TCTFs) using C3Nano’s ActiveGrid™ silver nanowire (AgNW) solution-based inks. The joint partnership enables a new class of flexible, more intuitive touch sensor applications, including those in large panel and curved displays. Hitachi Chemical cited C3Nano’s superior light transmission and low haze in its selection criteria. This, coupled with sheet resistance of 30 to 50 Ohms per square, will enable Hitachi Chemical to deliver TCTFs that offer high conductivity and optical performance on par with ITO.

Nissha and C3Nano Succeed in Joint Development of Next Generation Silver Nanowire Transparent Inks

May 8, 2015 — C3Nano, Inc. announced today that Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. and C3Nano have succeeded in the joint development of next generation silver nanowire (AgNW) transparent inks powered by C3Nano’s ActiveGrid technology. The deal will meet fast-evolving consumer demand for smarter, flexible phones, tablets and large panel displays. Nissha cited ActiveGrid’s outstanding overall performance including low haze, superior transparency and high conductivity in its selection criteria. Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies are developing and testing technologies to ensure environmental durability of silver nanowire based transparent inks. The joint development agreement represents an important industry milestone as consumer electronics manufacturers look for new solutions suitable for large panel, curved and flexible displays.
