Seeking Senior Formulations Scientist
C3Nano, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Formulation Scientist with a background in polymer chemistry, physics and science, nanomaterial dispersions, rheology, colloidal science, and thin films.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Formulations of conductive inks for thin film (wet) coatings
- Cross-functional support and cooperation with the multiple departments including: nanomaterial synthesis, process and operations and R&D
- Support and technical expertise at coating customers and convertors
Employee Requirements/Experience:
- Ph.D. in Polymer or Macromolecular Science, Polymer Science and Engineering, or related disciplines
- Spoken and written fluency in the Korean language
- 5+ years of industrial experience in ink formulations, polymer science and wet coatings
- In-depth knowledge of structure-property relations and materials science for a wide range of polymeric materials
- Extensive experience with a variety of additives, solvents, polymers, and materials for nanomaterial formulations
- Extensive background in polymer science and characterization
- Extensive experience with coatings, including rheology modification, slot-die, gravure and other low-viscosity, high-speed wet coatings
- Expertise in electronic materials ideal
- Scale-up of ink production ideal
- Highly motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary global team
- Team player with good communication skills
- Candidates must have working authorization in the United States
